Most seasonal colour-type quizzes are a coin flip. Reñ measures the undertone of your skin and hair from your own photos using real colour-space maths, then hands you a personal palette you can search and shop by name.
What actually gets measured
Undertone
Cool, neutral or warm, read from skin and hair patches in CIE LAB rather than inferred from your answers to a quiz.
Value & chroma
How light and how saturated the colours you wear should be. These are the two axes that separate seasons sharing an undertone.
Confidence
Every reading is reported with how certain it is. A borderline measurement is shown as borderline, not rounded into a verdict.
The method

Photograph yourself
Hold a few different fabric colours against your neckline. It is the same “draping” a colourist does in person, done with your own camera in your own light.

We measure, not guess
Skin and hair patches are converted to CIE LAB colour space to read your undertone (cool, warm or neutral) instead of pattern-matching a questionnaire.
